The Reign, the band you loved in the 80s and 90s is back in 2025 with two new releases. WHY IS THE REIGN RELEASING 2 NEW ALBUMS IN 2025? Well, back in 2024 a baby was about to be born and named REIGN. The parents asked us to write a song for her which we agreed.
A song for baby Reign from a band that has not played together for 35 years? YES! This song led to discussions of an unreleased album recorded in 1991 at The Choir's Neverland Studio for Image Records that was still in a vault somewhere. The Reign then hired famed recording engineer Marc DeSisto (U2, Don Henley, Dwight Yoakam, Warren Zevon, The Who, on and on..) to dust off, revive, update, re-mix and master the songs for the upcoming album titled Better Late Than Neverland due out July 22, 2025.
What about the baby’s song? It will be included along with 11 other never recorded songs by The Reign on the next album due out late 2025. Stay tuned family, cause we're still around and in the studio working hard.
